This mural was an interesting full circle event for me. I originally heard about the opportunity to paint a dragon in this stairwell when I was a senior in high school-nearly 10 years ago. At the time, I was serious about painting, but couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams painting a mural that was so large scale! I decided to reach out to the school again in early 2025, and was pleasantly surprised to hear that they did end up installing a dragon mural in the stairwell, but that it didn't align with the school anymore and they wanted it replaced with a stained glass version of their school crest!

I LOVE how this turned out, and how much brightness and school unity it brings!
